The Power of Mentorship

Have you ever experience climbing a mountain? If yes, what was the exact feeling when you reach the top? If no, do you consider doing it in the future?

I believe that all mountain climbers' main goal is to reach the top. Do you agree? No one will climb on a mountain without the desire to reach the top. Like in our spiritual life, we all want to reach the top of the mountain because we know that those people on the Bible who climb the mountain have a significant encounter with God.

For us to reach a higher level of intimacy with God, a higher level of worship, a higher level of praise, a higher level of prayer, it will always start with a desire.

Is the desire enough? No, it will never be enough, but I can say that it will be the starting point.

God says in Jeremiah 29:13, "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."

Start desiring God with all your heart.
Start seeking Him with the purest intentions.

I can say that sometimes, it will be hard for us to do it. It will be hard to be consistent on one thing. We need someone to help us. We need someone to pull us up.

I thought I could do it alone.
I thought I could make it to the end without needing the help of someone.
But, it will be impossible to reach the top alone.

Same as for the mountain climbers, I have never heard of someone who reaches the top of the mountain alone. No one climbs a mountain alone.

For those people who already have their mentors, I hope that this will made you realize how blessed you are for having a mentor, someone who will pull you up whenever you're feeling down and wants to give up.

For those people who are on the journey and they do not have someone to look up to, I encourage you to connect to someone you know that can help you to reach the top. (If you can't find one, I can help you)

If you have read until this far, I hope that you will start to appreciate your mentor/s. Support your mentor/s. Encourage your mentor/s (they may not say it but they need it)

Let's all aim to reach the top!
